Washington, United States – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump has directed American military forces to remain deployed in and around Iran until full compliance with the ceasefire agreement is ensured, according to media reports.
In a statement, Trump warned Tehran against any breach of the agreement, saying that any violation would trigger a significantly stronger response than before.
Posting on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said all US naval vessels, aircraft, and military personnel would maintain their positions near Iran until the terms of the deal are fully implemented.
“If for any reason that doesn’t happen and hostilities resume, the response will be stronger than ever before—like nothing seen previously,” he said.
Trump reiterated that the agreement includes assurances that Iran will not pursue nuclear weapons and that the strategic Strait of Hormuz will remain open and secure for international shipping.
He also added that US forces remain in a state of readiness, stating, “Our great military is resting and preparing for its next victory.”
The remarks come amid fragile ceasefire conditions between the United States and Iran, with global markets and diplomatic efforts closely tied to stability in the region.
