Trump Criticizes UK, France Over Iran War, Signals US Pullback

Date:

Washington, USA – Web Desk: U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply criticized the United Kingdom and France for not joining the conflict involving Iran, signaling a potential shift in Washington’s approach to supporting its allies.

Speaking during a media interaction, Trump said countries that did not stand with the United States should not expect automatic support in future crises. “The United States will not be there to help you, just as you were not there for us,” he said.

The president also suggested that allies should purchase jet fuel from the United States or independently secure oil supplies, including navigating strategic routes such as the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump further emphasized that the U.S. would no longer extend unconditional assistance to every country, urging allies to strengthen their own defense capabilities. “You have to learn to fight for yourselves,” he said.

Analysts say the remarks highlight growing strains in transatlantic relations and raise questions about future military cooperation among Western allies amid rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
