KARACHI – A 17-year-old girl, identified as Zainab, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a flat located on Badr Commercial Street 7A, Phase 5 of the Defence area in Karachi. According to rescue officials from Chhipa, the body bore signs of strangulation, and it was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for legal formalities.
SHO Shahid Taj of Darakhshan Police Station stated that initial findings suggest the incident may be a case of suicide by hanging. However, authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
Police are currently gathering statements from the deceased’s family at the hospital and have begun a detailed examination of the crime scene. Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
