Karachi, Pakistan — In a reported police encounter in the Ibrahim Hyderi area of Karachi, law enforcement officers apprehended an armed robber in injured condition while his accomplice managed to flee the scene.
According to police sources, the incident occurred near Korangi’s Ali Akbar Shah Goth during a routine patrol when officers confronted two suspected robbers. A brief exchange of gunfire ensued, resulting in one suspect, identified as 27-year-old Fahad, being wounded and taken into custody.
The injured suspect was transported to Jinnah Hospital via Edhi ambulance for medical treatment. Police recovered a pistol with ammunition, a mobile phone, and cash from the arrested individual. A manhunt is underway to locate the fleeing accomplice.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to determine whether the suspects are linked to other recent criminal activities in the area.
