Tragic Greater Noida incident ends in death; injured woman in stable condition
Greater Noida, India – Web Desk: A 38-year-old software engineer, Shatrughan Sinha, allegedly jumped from the 16th floor of Paramount Emotions Society in Greater Noida following a domestic dispute, resulting in his death.
According to police and local media reports, the incident occurred after Sinha reportedly attacked his sister-in-law with a kitchen knife during a family altercation. Injuries were sustained to her hand, but she is now in stable condition. Fearing legal repercussions, Sinha locked himself in a room and ultimately jumped from the balcony when threatened by his wife and sister-in-law to call the police.
Police confirmed Sinha was unemployed for six months and under severe mental stress. Neighbors reported frequent arguments between the couple. Sinha worked as a software engineer, while his wife is also employed in the IT sector. The couple had been married for 11 years and have an eight-year-old son. Sinha’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
