Security Forces Kill 4 Terrorists in Laki Marwat Operation

Date:

Laki Marwat, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan security forces conducted a targeted counterterrorism operation in Laki Marwat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the deaths of four terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported Thursday.

According to ISPR, the operation was carried out overnight between February 18 and 19, following intelligence about the presence of militants linked to the Indian-backed Fitanah al-Khawarij group. During an intense exchange of fire, all four terrorists were neutralized, and arms and ammunition were recovered from the site.

The statement confirmed that the militants had been involved in multiple acts of terrorism in the region. Clearance operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.

ISPR emphasized that under the National Action Plan and Vision Azm-e-Istiqamat, Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their counterterrorism campaign to dismantle terrorism networks operating under foreign sponsorship.
