SC Schedules Hearing of 13 Cases Linked to Imran Khan

(Web Desk) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan will hear 13 cases involving the founder of PTI, including appeals against the criminal trial in the Toshakhana case, on Monday.

The bench, headed by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Shahid Bilal, will preside over the hearings.

The scheduled cases include the Punjab government’s appeal against the bail of the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi, as well as an appeal against the Election Commission’s criminal complaint.

In addition, hearings are set for former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s cases under the Official Secrets Act and NAB proceedings. These include the NAB appeal against the PTI founder’s bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case and the appeal challenging the acquittal of the PTI founder and Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cipher case.

Other cases scheduled include the government’s appeal against the founder’s bail in the May 9 incidents in Lahore, as well as defamation appeals filed by the PTI founder against Shahbaz Sharif.

The Supreme Court registrar’s office has issued notices to all relevant parties and legal representatives.
