Saudi Arabia Welcomes Pakistani Conjoined Twins for Surgery

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Web Desk: On the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Pakistani conjoined twins Sufyan and Yousaf arrived in Riyadh with their family for medical evaluation and possible separation surgery.

Upon arrival, the twins were immediately transferred to King Abdullah Specialist Children’s Hospital for detailed medical assessments to determine the feasibility of surgical separation, officials said.

Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Adviser at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, thanked the Saudi leadership for their humanitarian initiative, highlighting the Kingdom’s ongoing mission to provide specialized medical care to children worldwide facing complex medical conditions.

Saudi Arabia has previously conducted successful separation surgeries on conjoined twins from Pakistan, Tanzania, the Philippines, and other countries, with more than 65 similar procedures performed globally.

All medical and surgical expenses are fully funded by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to the statement.
