Saudi Arabia and Pakistan should also join the Abraham Accords with Israel, says Trump

Date:

Washington, United States – Web Desk: US President Donald Trump has called on Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and several other Muslim-majority countries to consider joining the Abraham Accords with Israel, describing it as a key step toward reshaping Middle East diplomacy.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said countries that choose not to join the normalization framework with Israel should not be part of any potential agreement with Iran, framing it as a matter of “strategic alignment.”

He claimed to have spoken with leaders from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Turkey, Pakistan, Qatar and Egypt, urging broader participation in the accords following any future US-Iran agreement.

Trump suggested that if Iran reaches a deal with Washington, it too could join the Abraham Accords, calling it a “historic opportunity” to transform the Middle East into a more stable and economically integrated region.

He further stated that countries such as the UAE and Bahrain have already benefited from joining the accords, alongside Sudan, Morocco and Kazakhstan, which he said opened new economic and diplomatic opportunities.

The Abraham Accords, first signed in 2020 during Trump’s presidency, led to the normalization of relations between Israel and several Arab states, marking a major shift in regional diplomacy.
