KARACHI – Renowned actress Saba Qamar has announced legal action against a senior journalist over serious allegations, calling them baseless and defamatory.
Currently in the spotlight for her dramas “Pamaal” and “Case No. 9”, Saba Qamar recently faced online debate following her remarks about Karachi. In response, a journalist made controversial claims in a recent interview, sparking fresh discussion on social media.
The journalist alleged that Saba lived in Lahore during 2003–2004 in a house reportedly owned by someone she had a “close relationship” with. He further claimed that she visited a private news office to file a harassment complaint, where they first met.
Saba Qamar has strongly denied the claims, stating she will pursue legal proceedings against such false accusations. Her decision has received widespread support online, with one user commenting, “Great move—such people should be held accountable in court.” Another noted, “This person has made similar claims about Shoaib Malik before.”
