Quetta: 7-Year-Old Boy Missing After Drowning in Rainwater Pond

Quetta, Pakistan – Web Desk: A 7-year-old boy went missing after falling into a rainwater pond in Master Colony, Seriab area of Quetta.

According to PDMA Balochistan officials, the child, identified as Bismillah, son of Murad Khan, was playing near the pond when the accident occurred.

Upon receiving the alert, district authorities and PDMA teams immediately arrived at the scene and launched a search operation. Despite over 12 hours of efforts, the boy has not yet been found. Rescue teams have used boats to search the deep and muddy pond.

DG PDMA, Wajeh Zeb Khan, told reporters that the pond is very deep and water is dirty, making the search challenging. He added that the rescue operation will continue until the boy is located.
