Lahore, Pakistan – Web Desk: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has strongly criticized television host and actress Fiza Ali over a viral video from a morning show, calling the act inappropriate and urging regulatory scrutiny.
Speaking in an interview, Uzma Bukhari said the incident reflects a long-standing tendency to seek television ratings, adding that such content raises serious questions about media ethics and responsibility.
She further stated that the matter should be reviewed by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), questioning the moral standards being displayed on live television.
The minister also highlighted concerns over the presence of Fiza Ali’s young daughter during the broadcast, describing the situation as “deeply troubling” and inappropriate for public viewing.
The controversy stems from a recent viral clip in which Fiza Ali’s husband appeared on her morning show, and a segment involving her daughter and on-air interaction sparked widespread criticism on social media.
The incident has triggered renewed debate in Pakistan over morning show content, broadcast regulations, and the boundaries of entertainment programming on television.
