Iran Says Talks With US Continue After Islamabad Dialogue

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran has confirmed that diplomatic engagement with the United States is continuing through backchannel communications, even after recent talks held in Islamabad.

Speaking to media, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said that communication between the two sides has not ceased following the Islamabad dialogue. Instead, indirect exchanges are ongoing through diplomatic channels aimed at reducing tensions and exploring potential agreements.

He noted that such behind-the-scenes messaging plays a crucial role in clarifying misunderstandings, advancing negotiations, and preventing further escalation in sensitive geopolitical situations.

Officials added that Iran remains actively engaged with multiple countries amid rising tensions in the Middle East, seeking diplomatic solutions to stabilize the region.

Pakistan has also emerged as a key facilitator in the ongoing ceasefire and dialogue process between Washington and Tehran, reflecting its growing role in regional diplomacy.
