Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Kamil Khan, owner of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Sialkot Stallions, has announced his decision to step away from the team, confirming his departure in a statement posted on social media platform X.
Khan said he took on the leadership of the franchise out of his passion for Pakistan cricket and carried out his responsibilities with sincerity. He highlighted several key achievements during his brief tenure, including signing Australian star Steve Smith, appointing Tim Paine as head coach, and securing a partnership with sportswear brand New Balance.
He added that his decision to leave the franchise followed careful consideration of recent administrative decisions. Although he had made the decision earlier, Khan said he delayed the formal announcement to ensure the team was left in stable hands.
Khan wished the franchise success in the future, marking a significant development for the newly added PSL team ahead of upcoming seasons.
