Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif returned to Islamabad early Friday after completing a brief official visit to Saudi Arabia, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
The visit was made at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
During the trip, Prime Minister Shehbaz met with the Crown Prince and Saudi Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. At the start of the meeting, he conveyed his best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and expressed Pakistan’s gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s long-standing support.
Prime Minister Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s complete solidarity and support for Saudi Arabia during these challenging times. Both sides held detailed discussions on recent regional developments and agreed to continue joint efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East.
The Prime Minister also assured the Crown Prince that Pakistan would continue to stand firmly with Saudi Arabia and work toward shared goals of regional peace and cooperation.
