Doha, Qatar – Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to arrive in Doha on Friday, leading a high-level delegation on an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties with Qatar.
During the visit, the prime minister is scheduled to hold a key bilateral meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, where discussions are expected to focus on enhancing economic cooperation, investment opportunities, and regional stability.
The visit follows Sharif’s recent high-level engagements in Saudi Arabia, including a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. According to an official statement released by the Saudi Press Agency, both sides reviewed bilateral relations and explored avenues to further strengthen strategic cooperation across multiple sectors.
The leaders also exchanged views on the evolving situation in the Middle East, including ongoing diplomatic efforts between the United States and Iran, emphasizing the importance of regional peace and stability.
Saudi leadership commended Pakistan’s role in promoting dialogue and peace initiatives, highlighting Islamabad’s diplomatic engagement in facilitating talks aimed at reducing tensions in the region.
Sharif’s Qatar visit is expected to reinforce Pakistan’s economic diplomacy in the Gulf region, with a focus on attracting foreign investment and deepening strategic partnerships.
