LAHORE (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif returned to the country on Monday, arriving in Lahore after an overseas visit.
His aircraft landed at the old terminal of Lahore Airport, where security arrangements had been tightened ahead of his arrival.
After completing brief formalities, the prime minister departed for his residence.
According to sources, Shehbaz Sharif is expected to visit Jati Umra during his stay in Lahore, where he is likely to meet former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. The meeting is anticipated to focus on political and administrative matters facing the government.
Sources said the prime minister will travel to Islamabad on Tuesday to resume official engagements at the federal capital.
