Pervaiz Rashid Calls Islamabad ‘City of Peace’ After Talks

Date:

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Pervaiz Rashid, has described Islamabad as a “city of peace” following recent talks between the United States and Iran.

In a statement shared on X, Rashid reflected on the capital’s past, saying Islamabad was once associated with unrest, protests, and political sit-ins that discouraged international visits and investment opportunities.

He noted that the same city is now being recognized globally as a peaceful destination, attributing the shift to a change in leadership. Rashid added that the slogan “Chalo Chalo Islamabad Chalo” should now be seen as a call for positive and constructive purposes rather than disruption.

The remarks come in the backdrop of renewed diplomatic engagement in the region, with Islamabad gaining attention for hosting key international discussions.
