ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A survey of Transparency International Pakistan has revealed that the economy of the country is looking up and corruption is decreasing.

Transparency International Pakistan survey show that Pakistan’s commitment to transparency and accountable governance has progressed steadily over the past few years under the sitting government, which placed openness, rule-based decision-making and fiscal discipline at the center of its reform agenda.

Transparency International has reported that transparency has increased and corruption decreased in Pakistan, saying the country’s economy is moving from a state of stagnation to stability and development.

According to the National Corruption Perception Survey (NCPS) 2025 report released by Transparency International, 66 percent of Pakistanis said they had not to pay a bribe for any government work.

The government has stabilised the economy by reaching an agreement with the IMF, the report has revealed.

The report states that removal from the FATF gray list also led to economic stability, and a positive trend was observed in public opinion regarding the police, reflecting the improvement in police behaviour and service delivery.

According to the report, public perception regarding education, land and property, and taxation has also improved.

The NCPS is a measure of the perception of corruption in Pakistan.
