(Web Desk) – Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation on Tuesday in which they reviewed the prevailing regional situation and reiterated their commitment to continued efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability.
During the discussion, both leaders emphasized the importance of restraint by all parties to prevent further escalation of tensions in the Middle East. Prime Minister Sharif expressed deep concern over the growing crisis and condemned recent Israeli attacks on Iran as well as subsequent strikes on other Gulf countries.
He informed President Erdogan about Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach to Gulf leadership, reaffirming Islamabad’s solidarity with its regional partners and readiness to support constructive initiatives for crisis resolution.
The two leaders also exchanged views on developments in Afghanistan and agreed to maintain close coordination on issues affecting regional security.
Both sides underscored that sustained dialogue and cooperative diplomacy remain essential to addressing security challenges and ensuring long-term stability in the region.
