FO confirms Pakistan’s participation as Iran and US prepare for critical nuclear negotiations
Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan has confirmed its participation in the upcoming Iran-US nuclear talks scheduled for Friday in Istanbul. Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said Pakistan received a formal invitation and will take part in the negotiations.
The talks come amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington, which escalated following a series of threats. Iranian President emphasized national interests while agreeing to dialogue on advice from friendly nations. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated Iran will respond to threats with respect, and the US confirmed discussions are underway.
The Istanbul talks aim to address nuclear concerns, regional stability, and diplomatic solutions. Pakistan’s involvement highlights its role as a regional stakeholder in Middle East peace and diplomacy.
