Foreign Office clarifies Iran comments were personal opinions, not Pakistan’s official stance

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s Foreign Office has clarified that remarks made by a judge regarding Iran in the Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha case were personal opinions and do not reflect Pakistan’s official position. Spokesperson Dr. Tahir Hussain Andrabi stated that the sentencing of Mazari and Chattha is an internal matter and emphasized that Pakistan has no involvement in the Abraham Accords or the International Stability Force.

The Foreign Office highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to the Gaza Board of Peace, joined alongside seven other Muslim countries, to support reconstruction and long-term peace based on Palestinian self-determination. Andrabi stressed that linking the Board of Peace with the Abraham Accords is a misconception and reiterated Pakistan’s support for an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

He further clarified that the recent comments labeling Iran as a terrorist state by the presiding judge are personal views and Pakistan maintains no such official position.
