Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior has rejected social media reports and media claims suggesting that a specific group of Pakistani nationals is being deported from the United Arab Emirates, calling the information false, misleading and part of a propaganda campaign.
In a statement, the ministry said a detailed review of the situation confirmed that no evidence supports claims of targeted or group-based deportations of Pakistani citizens from the UAE or any other friendly country.
Officials clarified that any individual sent back from the UAE is done so strictly under applicable laws, including visa violations, expired residency permits, or other regulatory breaches, and forms part of routine immigration procedures.
The ministry stressed that Pakistani nationals continue to benefit from employment opportunities and visa facilities in the UAE and other partner countries, with no discriminatory policy in place against any specific group.
Authorities further described the circulating reports on social media as baseless and deliberately misleading, aimed at creating confusion and serving vested interests.
The statement added that issues faced by Pakistani citizens abroad are taken up with relevant authorities through diplomatic channels on a case-by-case basis by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure consular support where needed.
