(Web Desk) – Pakistan’s diplomatic missions in the United Arab Emirates have temporarily suspended consular services until March 3, 2026, citing the prevailing regional security situation.
In a circular, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai stated that the decision follows recommendations from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, which advised remote working and discouraged employee presence in open outdoor spaces due to current conditions.
The Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi confirmed that the measure was taken to prioritise the safety of community members and diplomatic staff. Officials said consular operations will resume once circumstances improve and security conditions stabilise.
Pakistani nationals residing in the UAE have been urged to comply with local authority directives and remain informed through official announcements.
Diplomatic missions emphasised that assistance remains available through online and emergency channels during the temporary suspension of in-person services.
