Pakistan Airstrikes Hit TTP Targets in Afghanistan, 80 Killed

Date:

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan has carried out airstrikes inside Afghanistan, targeting multiple bases linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), security sources said on Monday. The strikes reportedly destroyed seven militant facilities across three Afghan provinces and killed more than 80 fighters.

According to military sources, the operation was conducted late at night based on verified intelligence. The targeted locations were in Nangarhar, Paktika, and Khost provinces, where TTP militants were allegedly operating from multiple command and training centers.

Four sites were hit in Nangarhar, two in Paktika, and one in Khost, with the death toll expected to rise as assessments continue. Security officials said the operation aimed to dismantle militant infrastructure used for planning attacks against Pakistan.

The strikes come amid heightened tensions over cross-border militancy and renewed security challenges in the region.
