(Web Desk) – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has assured that the property rights of overseas Pakistanis will be fully protected, warning that no encroachment on their assets will be tolerated.

Mohsin Naqvi has issued a firm directive that the District Commissioner (DC) Islamabad must decide on any complaint of property encroachment filed by overseas Pakistanis within seven days.

The decision aims to ensure prompt and transparent resolution of disputes, protecting the investments of Pakistanis living abroad.

Overseas investments are welcome

Sharing his message on X, Naqvi emphasized that investments by overseas Pakistanis in Islamabad are not only welcome but highly valuable for the country. He pledged that authorities would take immediate action to safeguard their assets.

“This is a clear commitment that the property rights of overseas Pakistanis will be fully protected,” he stated.

The Interior Minister stressed that encroachment on property owned by overseas Pakistanis will not be permitted under any circumstances. The move reflects the government’s focus on creating a secure environment for overseas investors in the federal capital.
