Netanyahu Says Iran War Not Over, Tensions Escalate

Date:

Jerusalem, Israel – Web Desk: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the conflict with Iran is “not over” and warned that new developments could emerge at any time, signaling continued regional instability.

Speaking to journalists in Jerusalem during a meeting with Argentine President Javier Milei, Netanyahu stated that Israel remains in a state of war with Iran and that the situation is still active and evolving.

The remarks come amid ongoing diplomatic and military tensions involving Iran and the United States, with efforts underway to prevent further escalation in the region.

According to recent developments, US President Donald Trump announced that Vice President JD Vance will lead the next round of negotiations in Islamabad aimed at advancing talks to end the Iran conflict. Trump also claimed that Iran had violated elements of an existing ceasefire related to the Strait of Hormuz.

He further warned that if a final agreement is not reached, the United States could consider targeting critical infrastructure, including power stations and bridges in Iran.

Meanwhile, Washington’s envoy to the United Nations, Mike Waltz, expressed cautious optimism that upcoming talks could produce meaningful progress.

Diplomatic sources say Pakistan is playing an active role in facilitating dialogue between the parties. A high-level Pakistani delegation led by Asim Munir recently visited Tehran, while efforts continue to reduce tensions and secure a ceasefire framework.

The conflict, which began on February 28 and was temporarily paused in early April, remains fragile as international stakeholders push for a lasting settlement.
