Kathmandu, Nepal – Web Desk: The Nepal national cricket team has once again etched its name into the record books after posting a remarkable 313 runs in a T20 International match, showcasing one of the most explosive batting displays in the format’s history.
In the Asian Games T20 contest against China, Nepal amassed 313/2 in their allotted 20 overs, registering one of the highest totals ever recorded in T20 International cricket.
Leading the charge was batter Kushal Bhurtel, who produced a sensational century, while Nepal’s batting lineup dominated the Chinese bowling attack throughout the innings. During the match, Bhurtel also equaled the famous record of six sixes in an over, previously achieved by former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.
Nepal had previously made history during the 2023 Asian Games by scoring 314 runs against Mongolia, becoming the first team in T20 International cricket to cross the 300-run mark.
With this latest achievement, Nepal has become the first team in T20I history to score 300-plus totals on two separate occasions, further strengthening its reputation as one of the most exciting associate nations in world cricket.
