Nearly 100,000 Palestinians Pray at Al-Aqsa Despite Israeli Restrictions

Date:

Jerusalem, Israel – Web Desk: Despite strict Israeli restrictions, approximately 100,000 Palestinians gathered in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound to perform Friday prayers.

At the start of Ramadan, Israeli authorities had imposed limitations on access to the holy site, allowing only 10,000 Palestinians daily through permits. The restrictions were intended to control the number of worshippers amid heightened security measures.

According to international media reports, the turnout, though significantly lower than the usual millions who attend in past years, demonstrates the resilience and devotion of Palestinian worshippers.

Authorities continue to enforce entry limits, highlighting ongoing tensions in Jerusalem during the holy month of Ramadan.
