Arctic-like freeze in Florida postpones Artemis II launch; new date set for Feb 8

Cape Canaveral, USA – Web Desk: NASA has postponed its historic Artemis II mission to the Moon due to unusually extreme cold at the Florida launch site. Originally scheduled for February 6, the first human-crewed lunar mission in over 50 years will now not launch before February 8. The 98-meter Space Launch System (SLS) rocket was fully prepped for fueling tests, but freezing temperatures forced a halt. NASA plans to conduct a critical dress rehearsal if the weather stabilizes, marking a key step toward returning humans to the Moon.
