ISLAMABAD – Web Desk: A delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) led by party convener and Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss the federal budget for fiscal year 2026-27, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
The delegation included Federal Minister for National Health Syed Mustafa Kamal, and Members of National Assembly Farooq Sattar, Aminul Haq, and Javed Hanif. The Prime Minister stated that MQM is an important coalition partner of the government and its positive, constructive role in national development, economic stability, and public welfare is commendable, adding that this partnership will continue with the same spirit in the future.
The meeting also discussed the overall political situation in the country. Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Ahad Khan Cheema, Attaullah Tarar, and PM’s Political Affairs Advisor Rana Sanaullah were also present.
