Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: The mother of slain 17-year-old social media influencer Sana Yousaf has made an emotional appeal for justice nearly a year after her daughter was killed in Islamabad.
Speaking to local media, she broke down in tears and said the family is still waiting for justice, adding that she has faced severe emotional trauma since the incident, including repeated thoughts of self-harm.
Sana Yousaf was shot dead in June 2025 inside her home, an incident that sparked widespread outrage across Pakistan.
Her mother said she continues to live in grief, stating that she “dies every day and lives every day,” while emphasizing her determination to pursue justice for her daughter.
She added that the case has been delayed due to legal proceedings in higher courts, despite what she described as a generally cooperative attitude from the judiciary.
The grieving mother said she wants the accused to be given the strictest possible punishment so that other young girls feel safer in society.
The case remains under legal process, with hearings ongoing in higher courts.
