Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Mohsin Naqvi continued high-level diplomatic engagements in Tehran for a third consecutive day amid stalled negotiations between Iran and the United States.
According to sources, the Pakistani interior minister is playing an active diplomatic role aimed at helping restore dialogue between Tehran and Washington during a period of heightened regional tensions.
Mohsin Naqvi held additional meetings with senior Iranian officials on Sunday and is expected to continue discussions with other high-ranking leaders in the coming days.
During his visit, Naqvi has already met with Masoud Pezeshkian, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and Eskandar Momeni.
Earlier, President Pezeshkian praised Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at securing a ceasefire in the conflict involving Iran and acknowledged the contributions of Shehbaz Sharif and Asim Munir.
According to Iran’s state media, the Iranian president expressed hope that Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement would contribute to long-term regional peace and stability.
President Pezeshkian also stressed the importance of unity among Muslim nations, saying stronger coordination between Islamic countries could help reduce external interference and promote lasting peace across the region.
The visit comes amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding Iran-US relations and broader geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
