Macron Praises Pakistan’s Mediation in US–Iran Talks

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: French President Emmanuel Macron held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, praising Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran.

According to official sources, President Macron congratulated Pakistan for its role in bringing both sides to the negotiating table and extended best wishes for the success of ongoing peace talks in Islamabad.

Prime Minister Sharif thanked the French leader for supporting Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives and reaffirmed Islamabad’s commitment to regional peace and stability through constructive engagement.

During the call, both leaders also expressed deep concern over the ongoing violence in Lebanon, stressing the urgent need to end hostilities and bloodshed to restore stability across the region.

They agreed to remain in close contact as diplomatic efforts continue amid a fragile ceasefire environment in the Middle East.
