Washington, United States – Web Desk: U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a close ally of President Donald Trump, has claimed that Saudi Arabia would normalize diplomatic relations with Israel following a change of government in Iran.
Speaking to reporters, Graham said he had spoken with Saudi officials and was confident in his assessment. “There is no ‘if’ or ‘but’ about it,” he said, suggesting that a shift in Iran’s political leadership would pave the way for Riyadh to formalize ties with Israel.
The senator added that, in the event of the fall of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Saudi Arabia would join the Abraham Accords, calling it “the biggest prize” in regional diplomacy.
Saudi Arabia has not publicly confirmed Graham’s remarks. Riyadh has previously signaled that normalization with Israel would depend on broader regional stability and progress on the Palestinian issue.
The comments come amid heightened tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States, with regional alliances and normalization efforts once again under global scrutiny.
