LHC forms new two-member bench to hear PTI’s Hassaan Niazi’s case

LAHORE (Web Desk) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday constituted a new two-member bench, headed by Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmad, to hear former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan’s nephew Hassaan Niazi’s petition against his military trial in a May 9 case.

The other judge on the bench is Justice Malik Muhammad Awais Khalid.

LHC’s Registrar Office issued a cause list for the hearing of the case.

Assistant Advocate General Muhammad Farrukh Khan will represent the Punjab government in the case, while from Hassaan’s side Faisal Siddiqui and other lawyers would appear in the court.

Earlier, a two-member bench, headed by Justice Farooq Haider, had recused from hearing the case.
