Peshawar, Pakistan – Web Desk: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi has said there will be no compromise on national security, emphasizing that defending every inch of Pakistan’s territory is a national duty.
In a statement issued amid rising Pakistan-Afghanistan border tensions, Afridi strongly condemned what he described as provocation and external aggression along the Pak-Afghan frontier.
He said the provincial government remains in constant coordination with relevant institutions in light of the ongoing situation. The protection of citizens in border districts is the government’s top priority, he added, noting that necessary measures are being taken to safeguard lives and property.
Afridi assured residents of border areas that they would not be left alone during the current tensions. He also directed the local administration to remain on high alert to effectively respond to any emergency situation.
His remarks come as security concerns continue along the western border, prompting both federal and provincial authorities to reinforce preparedness and coordination.
