Web Desk, Islamabad – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced plans to form an “Imran Khan Release Peace Force,” stating that it will comprise millions of members drawn from all party wings.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Afridi said the initiative aims to unite young supporters on a single platform so they are prepared whenever a call is given by former prime minister Imran Khan.
He explained that the proposed force would include various segments similar to relief, tiger and task forces, and would consist of members from all wings of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, including lawyers and the party’s youth wing.
Afridi further stated that those responsible for what he termed a “mandate theft” on February 8 were not benefactors of his party. He also rejected medical reports from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) regarding Imran Khan, calling them fabricated.
The announcement comes amid ongoing political tensions, with PTI leadership reiterating its stance on electoral transparency and legal proceedings involving its founder.
