Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has clarified that there has never been any discussion at any level regarding the transfer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan abroad or to his Bani Gala residence.
Asif suggested that while approaches may have been made regarding certain facilities, market rumors about any “deal” are unfounded. “Now this product has no value left. By talking about deals, some just want to keep their shop open,” he said.
The minister also criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, stating that the CM’s position is at risk and that his announcement of the so-called “Rihai Force” is unconstitutional and illegal. He emphasized that no entity other than the federal government has the authority to establish a force.
On international affairs, Khawaja Asif praised former US President Donald Trump for commending Pakistan’s political and military leadership, acknowledging the strength of the Pakistan Army and the capability of its field marshals. He described the Prime Minister’s visit to the United States as highly successful.
Addressing regional peace efforts, Asif said that commitments made at the Gaza Peace Board meeting are aimed at resettling Palestinians. “InshaAllah, Gaza will be rebuilt, and Palestinians will return,” he added.
