Judicial Commission Approves Transfers of 3 Islamabad High Court Judges

ISLAMABAD – Web Desk: The Judicial Commission has approved the transfer of three judges from the Islamabad High Court, with decisions made by majority vote, sources said.

The first meeting of the Judicial Commission was chaired by the Chief Justice of Pakistan. According to sources, nine members of the commission voted in favor of transferring Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani. The commission approved his transfer to the Lahore High Court.

Justice Babar Sattar’s transfer to the Peshawar High Court was also approved by majority vote. Additionally, the commission approved the transfer of Justice Suman Rifat Imtiaz to the Sindh High Court.

Meanwhile, the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court withdrew recommendations for the transfers of Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Khadim Soomro.
