Civilians hit as Israel conducts strikes on Lebanese towns Kafr Tibnit & Ain Qana
Beirut, Lebanon | Web Desk — Israeli airstrikes targeted southern Lebanon, hitting residential areas in Kafr Tibnit and Ain Qana. One person was killed and eight others injured, including civilians in Ansariya and Qayleh.
The strikes, carried out without prior warning, also hit vehicles, according to Lebanese media reports. While Israel claims the attacks aimed at weapons storage facilities, Lebanese authorities insist that residential zones were deliberately targeted.
Since the November 2024 ceasefire, over 360 people have died in Israeli operations in Lebanon, prompting repeated protests from the Lebanese government against ceasefire violations.
