Iran’s IRGC Claims Missile Strikes on US Bases in Kuwait, Bahrain

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed on Saturday that it has carried out missile strikes on US military installations in Kuwait and Bahrain, describing the attacks as retaliation for recent American airstrikes on Iranian targets .

According to an IRGC statement, Iran’s Aerospace Force targeted two military airbases in Kuwait, claiming to have hit fuel depots, Patriot air defense systems, and a key radar system . The IRGC said the strikes are part of a third phase of its military operation, dubbed an “eye-for-an-eye” strategy .

Bahrain Base Also Targeted

Iranian forces additionally claimed to have struck the Shaikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain, targeting helicopter repair facilities, a hangar containing a US P-8 aircraft, and an American drone command-and-control center .

The IRGC warned that if the US continues its military activities in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran will carry out further retaliatory measures. The statement declared that Iran “will no longer tolerate” foreign military presence in the strategic waterway .

Threat of Escalation

Iran’s military leadership has warned that further strikes could target additional US allies in the region, including Qatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, if US attacks on Iranian territory continue . The Iranian government has also warned that “if the United States repeats its attacks, Iran’s crushing responses would be expanded to include other American bases in the region” .

No Confirmation from US or Gulf States

There has been no official confirmation from Kuwait, Bahrain, or the United States regarding Iran’s claims, and independent verification of potential casualties or damage was not immediately available .

The claims come amid escalating military exchanges between Washington and Tehran, with the US having conducted major airstrikes on Iranian military targets on July 12 . Analysts warn that continued tensions could have significant consequences for Gulf security, global maritime trade through the Strait of Hormuz, and overall regional stability .
