Iranian Speaker: No Peace Without Recognition of Rights, 14-Point Plan Key to Stability

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has taken a firm stance on ongoing tensions with the United States, saying no political or diplomatic solution is possible unless Iran’s fundamental rights outlined in Tehran’s proposed 14-point framework are fully recognized.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, Ghalibaf said Iran’s national interests and the rights of its people cannot be ignored in any future negotiations or ceasefire arrangement involving Washington.

He warned that any attempt to sideline Tehran’s demands would further complicate the regional situation and increase political and economic costs for the United States and its taxpayers.

“The 14-point proposal presented by Iran represents a guarantee for lasting peace and stability in the region,” Ghalibaf said, adding that sustainable regional security can only be achieved if Iran’s position and legitimate demands are seriously acknowledged.

The remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East and continued uncertainty surrounding diplomatic efforts between Tehran and Washington over regional security and Iran’s nuclear program.
