Iranian Drones Crash in Azerbaijan, Injure Civilians and Damage Airport

Web Desk – News from Baku, Azerbaijan Several drones launched from Iran have crashed inside Azerbaijan, damaging infrastructure and injuring two civilians, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan confirmed.

One drone struck the terminal building of Nakhchivan International Airport, causing structural damage. Another drone landed near a school in Shakarabad village, officials said.

The foreign ministry described the incidents as a violation of international law and demanded an explanation from Tehran, urging measures to prevent future occurrences. Azerbaijan summoned the Iranian ambassador to lodge a formal protest, stating that it reserves the right to respond appropriately.

Iranian authorities have not yet commented on the allegations.
