Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Senior Iranian security sources have warned that what they described as U.S. naval aggression and a so-called blockade will soon face a “practical and unprecedented response,” according to Iranian state media.
Reports carried by Press TV cited high-level sources as saying that if Washington continues what Iran calls an “illegal naval blockade” around the Strait of Hormuz, a firm response would be inevitable.
The sources added that recent regional conflicts have demonstrated that Iran is no longer a predictable or passive adversary, signaling a shift in Tehran’s strategic posture.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, with concerns growing over maritime security and global energy supply routes, particularly in the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz, through which a significant portion of the world’s oil shipments passes.
Analysts warn that any escalation in the region could have far-reaching implications for global trade, oil markets, and geopolitical stability.
