Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a stark warning to the United States, saying any form of military strike against Iran—even if limited—would trigger a “long and painful” retaliation targeting US interests across the region.
Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, said Tehran is prepared to respond forcefully to any aggression. “We have seen what happened to your regional bases; now we will witness the same happening to your warplanes,” Mousavi stated.
His remarks came in response to recent media reports suggesting that the US military has prepared plans for “short and powerful” strikes against Iran amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The warning underscores rising geopolitical risks in the Gulf region, particularly around key strategic routes such as the Strait of Hormuz, as global concerns mount over potential conflict between Washington and Tehran.
