Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued an unexpected message to the people of Jordan, stating that Iran holds no enmity toward Jordan or its people and that its military actions are solely aimed at US military bases and presence in the region .

In a statement, the IRGC said Iran respects the Jordanian people and considers them a “friend and dignified nation.” “We have no hostility toward your country; rather, we love the great people of Jordan,” the statement read .
The IRGC also noted that the Jordanian people understand the suffering and hardships of the Palestinian people and are well aware of the destruction and loss of life in Gaza .

The statement added that the presence of US military bases in the region is fueling tensions. Iran argued that if US military bases were removed from the region, not only would the Palestinian people benefit, but the prospects for peace and stability across the Middle East would also increase .
