Iran Sets 6 Demands for US-Israel Ceasefire Deal

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran has reportedly put forward six key conditions for ending the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel, describing them as part of a broader legal and security framework for any potential ceasefire agreement.

According to Iranian media, a senior official speaking anonymously said that regional mediators and third parties have presented various ceasefire proposals, prompting Tehran to respond with its own terms.

The official said Iran’s first condition is a firm and verifiable guarantee that hostilities will not resume. The second calls for the closure of US military bases in the region, while the third demands withdrawal of “aggressor forces” and compensation for damages caused during the conflict.

The fourth condition requires a complete end to all regional military fronts. The fifth proposes a new legal framework governing the Strait of Hormuz, a key global energy route. The sixth calls for legal action against anti-Iran media activity and the expulsion of related elements.

The report did not specify which countries or intermediaries conveyed these demands to Washington or Tel Aviv. However, Iranian political and security circles are said to be urging serious consideration of the proposals.

Another official claimed Iran is advancing according to a phased strategy and has inflicted significant damage on enemy air defence systems, asserting improved air superiority.

Iranian authorities also stated that while an immediate ceasefire appears unlikely, Tehran remains open to a negotiated solution based on its outlined conditions.
