Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran has announced the launch of its 78th wave of missile attacks against the United States and Israel, escalating military activity even as reports of ceasefire negotiations circulate.
According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the latest operations were carried out under “Operation True Promise 4,” targeting multiple locations across the region.
The IRGC said strikes hit areas in Israel including Eilat, Dimona, and northern Tel Aviv, as well as alleged US military positions in the region. The attacks reportedly involved multi-warhead missiles and drones.
Iranian sources said long-range missiles including Emad and Qadr were used in the operation, both capable of striking distant targets with high precision.
Officials also stated that Iran has not yet fully deployed all IRGC and Basij forces, warning that additional units could be activated if necessary, potentially intensifying the conflict further.
In a separate statement, an Iranian military official sent a warning message to US President Donald Trump, urging him to focus on “the skies, oil prices, and stock markets,” and claiming that a major “surprise” response is being prepared.
Security analysts say the continued escalation and rhetoric from both sides are increasing regional instability, with potential global implications for energy markets and international security.
