Iran Rejects Trump’s Missile Claims, Calls Allegations ‘Baseless’

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran has strongly rejected recent U.S. accusations regarding its missile program, calling the claims “baseless” and misleading.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, in a statement posted on social media, described American assertions about Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs as “a big lie” with no factual basis. Baghaei also dismissed U.S. claims about the number of casualties during January protests, calling them “false and misleading.”

The remarks follow comments by U.S. President Donald Trump, who warned that Iran’s missiles could pose a threat to European nations and U.S. military bases in the region, claiming that Tehran is developing missiles potentially capable of reaching the United States in the future.

Tensions between the United States and Iran over nuclear development and regional security continue to remain high, with both sides issuing firm statements and warnings.
